On behalf of the entire Bishop McVinney School staff, I would like to welcome you to our school web site.

Our school has had a long tradition of serving the families of the South Providence area with an affordable, quality Catholic education.  We consider ourselves very rich in the warm smiles and gracious hearts of our beautiful students and wonderful staff that provides the very best academic instruction to all entrusted to our care. We are truly blessed to have the richness of diverse culture in early Pre-K – Grade 8.

As peacemakers and followers of the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, we are proud to use our talents and resources to make our community a better place and to understand that we can make a powerful difference in the world. I look forward to working with you as your child begins their academic, social, and spiritual journey at our school.
